How Long For Sleepytime To Start Working

World Day of Prayer for Vocations - 13/04/2008

On Sunday 13 April, XLV Church celebrates World Day of Prayer for Vocations, which coincides, as in previous years, with the IV Easter Sunday, Good Shepherd Sunday.

Pope Benedict XVI calls on this day we know that every vocation is a gift from God to be asked in prayer and merit to the testimony of their lives, and it does this year 2008 with his message: "Vocations the service mission of the Church. "

've ever heard of vocations, or vocation, or perhaps a friend or friend of yours decided in his life for the priesthood or religious life. Perhaps you have wondered about your life plan, of what God wants or expects from you.

First we want you to know that in the Church everyone has a vocation is the call that God sent His Son Jesus, the day of our baptism, to be his children, is the great gift of God for each proof of his infinite love for you. It is He who comes after you, free of charge and only love.

Secondly, we want you to know that vocations to the priesthood, diaconate, religious, are the responsibility of everyone in the Church, yes, yours. We should all pray and work for vocations.
